Line of Mrs Mathews. Rather than place of death, it might be "of". Their home was 'Coragh House', Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Eire. The information on their descendants was sent by Mrs. Thomas E. Mathews, Box 71, 29 Main Street, Bloomfield, Ontario, Canada in 1989. [JHJ] In the above paragraph 'Co. Cavan, Eire' should read 'Co. Cavan, Ireland, United Kingdom'. Eire did not come into existance until 29 December 1937 and in 1949 the name was changed again to the Republic of Ireland.
