Maynard had Downes Syndrom and was a well known and loved character around Tandragee. He had a great love for music and walking.

Death Notice published in the Belfast Newsletter, Thursday 10th October 2002

SINTON - October 8, 2002, peacefully in Hospital, Maynard John, very dearly loved son of the late John and Marion Sinton and loving brother of Laura and Winnie, late of 29 Madden Road, Tandragee. Funeral service in Ballymore Parish Church, to-day (Thursday) at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. House private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Down's Syndrome and Cancer Research N.I., c/o Mr. L. Grant, 19 Madden Road, Tandragee, BT62 2DG. Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing Sisters, Brother-in-law Bill, Nephews Phillip, Christopher, Michael, Roger and all the Family Circle.
