GENERAL NOTES
Charlotte inherited the property of her father, John Taft, and remained there until her death. The farm was run by her nephew, Francis Arthur Snow, who inherited the property from Charlotte. He and his family remained there for many years until he sold the farm and moved over the hill (Taft Hill) to the hamlet of Caroline Center. (It was said by old-timers that Taft Hill was covered by snow the year around.)
