He was called, by WLS and JRHG, the probable son of Benjamin of Unshinagh. He was the founder of the line of called "Cabra" or "Cabragh". He is also called "of Ballyworkan or Brackagh". Ronald Greeves (JRHG) could never find adequate information to positively identify him as son of Benjamin, nor identify other children for him, besides James. Walter Lyon Sinton (WLS) and Ronald both considered him to have been the son of Benjamin. He is not mentioned in the Tamnaghmore House pedigree and history by Dorothy McClatchie Sinton (DMS). |
