David W. Sinton Dies in Little Rock: Rites Here

Dr. David W. Sinton, former resident of Colorado Springs, died at Little Rock, Ark. Thursday. He was born in Colorado Springs and was 39 years old.

He graduated from Colorado College in 1944, and received his MD degree at Colorado University in 1947. He did internship and residency at the University of Iowa, and was instructor in the Medical School there from 1951 to 1953. He was resident of Neurology at the University of Colorado, school of medicine from 1954 to 1957.

He was assistant professor of neurology in the Albany Medical College, Albany, N.Y. from 1957 to 1961, and was professor of Neurology at the University of Arkansas school of medicine from 1961 until his death. He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Neurology.

He is survived by his wife: Eleanor Sinton of Little Rock and 6 sons, Herbert, David, John, Stephen, Peter, and Mark, and 1 daughter Mary all of Little Rock: sister, Mrs. John Gray of Colorado Springs and his father, Herbert Sinton, of Colorado Springs.

He served as a captain in World War 2.

Private services will be held in St. Stephens Chapel of Grace Episcopal Church on Tuesday. Internment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The Law Mortuary has charge of local arrangements.
