Janice R. Sinton Lipsky

Janice R. Sinton Lipsky, 56, of Tamaqua, died Friday evening at her residence.

Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Gary G. and Caroline Betz Sinton Sr.

She was a 1970 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pottsville.

Surviving are her husband, Robert F. Lipsky Jr., to whom she was married 36 years; a daughter, Laurie, wife of Harry Chappell; a son Robert F. Lipsky III; a granddaughter, Shyanne Lipsky; three brothers, Gary G., husband of Elaine Sinton Jr., Schuylkill Haven, Thomas E., husband of Ann Sinton, Pittsburgh, and William, husband of Cheryl Sinton, Auburn; three sisters, Sharon, wife of Dennis Krammes, Schuylkill Haven, Laura L., wife of John Belser, Pottstown, and Holly, wife of Robert Patton, Pottsville; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life tribute will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Pottsville. Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
