She is survived by her twin sons, Chad A. and Cory B. Sinton; sister, Charlene P. Hayes; niece, Susan Andrews; nephews, Michael and Scott Hayes and William Sinton; brother-in-law, John Sinton; and dear friends, Jackie Smith and Dick and Beth Gilligan. She was predeceased by her husband, William "Twisty" Sinton in 1981; brother-in-law, Manley "Pete" Hayes in 2012; and nephew, Terry Hayes in 2008. Sandy was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter Lee and Dorothy (Lynch) Pierce. She attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. Sandy was a member of St. Mary's Church. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. Sandy loved shopping and spending time with her family. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Services are private. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Centerpointe Country Club, 2231 Brickyard Road, Canandaigua. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. The family would like to extend special thanks to the House of John for the excellent care she received.
