Born in Pottsville, Feb. 8, 1915, she was a daughter of the late George and Emma Sinton Harris. She was a member of Primitive Methodist Church, Tamaqua, and its Ladies Bible class and Ladies Aide. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Sadie Harris, Virginia Harris, Louise Harris, Mary Feinauer, Dolores Johnson, four brothers, Edward Harris, George Harris, Alert Harris, and James Harris; great grandaughter, Emily Ann Johnson. Surviving are her husband, John G. Johnson, to whom she was married 63 years; a daughter, Mary E. Smith, Allentown; a son, the Rev. James G., Dickson City; two sisters, Hazel Marx, Port Clinton, and Betty Mease, Orwigsburg; eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday from Jon M. Zizelman Funeral Home, Tamaqua. The Rev. Alvin A. Reese will officiate. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. [AMS]
