First marriage to Terrence Close. Lived beside us in 4 Oakleigh Park, Portadown, Co. Armagh.
Went to England with Terry and after he died she became a nanny to Sally Eames.
Married Sally's father Geoffrey, and initially lived in Stourbridge.
Moved to large house in Hagley.
Built new large house on land to the rear of this house.
During a visit to us from England in the late 1950's it was particularly cold and she was used to central heating, which we unfortunately did not have. She commented many times about being cold, so my brother and I jokingly christened her 'Auntie Freeze'.
