This information comes from Maurice Mehaffey, who was responsible for the inscription. Lord help genealogists of the future who wonder who this Eric is. [RFSS Mar 2003] Was employed for many years by the internationally renowned rose grower Sam McCready, in his seed and garden plants shop in Portadown. Incidently, one of Sam's many rose fields was at Mullavilly and a housing development there has the address of 'The Rose Garden'.
