Dr. Thomas Sinton, D.D.S., Welcomed to Fountain

The Town of Fountain now has a dentist in the Fountain Crest Shopping Center, Interchange to Interstate 25, South Fountain.

Dr. Thomas Sinton, D.D.S., opened his offices there this week.

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, he was graduated from Colorado College with a degree in Economics. He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Nebraska, being graduated there with the class of 1959.

After serving for 4½ years with the U.S. Army, he returned to Colorado Springs in Sept., 1964, and has practiced dentistry there until the present time.

With his wife, Bee, two daughters and three sons, he lives in Colorado Springs.

Obituary in the Colorado Gazette Telegraph, published on Wednesday 8 November 1989 reads

DR. THOMAS S. SINTON,
55, of Colorado Springs died Monday in Colorado Springs. He was a dentist.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Broadmoor Community Church, 315 Lake Ave., with the Rev. F. Russell Mitman officiating. Swan-Law Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sinton was born May 25, 1934, in Colorado Springs to James and Mary (Shoemaker) Sinton. He married Blanche Wicks in September 1953.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Marge Sinton of Dillon, Linda Hammond, Mari Sinton and Laura Sinton, all of Colorado Springs; two sons, Jim and Frank, both of Durango; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Jr.
